Using a VPN like Surfshark or NordVPN on your OS/Browser will prevent this extension from properly working if you enable certain settings; in the case of Surfshark, it's the NoBorders settings I believe. It's graphically pleasing, simple to use, very uncomplicated... but it's surprising just how many words I seek that it cannot provide a definition for. For that reason, after a year or two of using it, I have to find another with a more complete dictionary.
