The "Make America Kittens Again" (#MAKA) thought of this, and has a button on the toolbar that can temporarily disable the substitution. Unfortunately, it is only available for Chrome.

Edit: I've literally been using this add-on for eight years, now. Still love it. Only wish the author would add a sequel, "Make Musk Muskrats", or something.
