Main reason is google image search results deciding otherwise: google search ->image results, full page of images -> left click opens preview half-page, and then left click on that preview image suddenly decides to open in new tab...
Similar things also happen on image links on Alibaba, Ebay,...;
'campaign.aliexpress.com' even tampers the cursor behavior over links...
Maybe some kind of "give a finger -mode" in plugin to disable absolutely everything, that alters mouse and keyboard, would be in place; and if that makes page inoperable - good, those, who bend well established internet UI standards should go out of business to clean up this world!!! - Rated 5 out of 5ruma Wyrade, 3 tahun yang lepasThanks for the addon!
