Simplicity used to rule but, now, it's trying to do too much and getting most of it wrong.
Such a pity, but it's now time to find a repacement. - Rated 5 out of 5ruma Martin Orvad, pred 8 letiI've been using ColorZilla for years. It's one of those small widgets I just can't live without. Easy to use. Precise results. Absolutely recommended for frontend developers.
- Rated 3 out of 5ruma Николай Егоров , pred 8 letithe previous version, probably 2.x were great. New just awful - very slow, bugs, and if there fixed elements on the page, it causes conflicts, in the end, the layout of the page spreads, breaking down. Was 5 stars, now a maximum of 3. Sorry.
- Rated 5 out of 5ruma Jonathan Pasquier, pred 8 letiI have been a happy Colorzilla user for many years.
Thanks for distributing this add-on! - Rated 5 out of 5ruma LongTimeUser, pred 8 letiI have been using ColorZilla for years now and it is really good.
Easy to use, never breaks and the latest release has some really good features - especially the new sampling modes - Rated 5 out of 5ruma Teresa, pred 8 letiI open a lot of website at once and the color keeps me straight with what website I need to go to next.
- Rated 3 out of 5ruma Rellims, pred 8 letiI have used ColorZilla for years, and as a web developer, it is an indispensable tool.
However, the new UX is not as easy to work with. I honestly prefer the separate window so I can work across multiple FF tabs and with my css files. I think this is where most of the disappointment comes from others.
The added features were nice, but please if possible, bring back the old separate UX/UI window to help keep our workflow .. flowing without having to reopen that panel every time.
Thank you! - Rated 5 out of 5ruma glazarides, pred 8 letiI've been using ColorZilla for many years. Every time I install FF on a new computer, this is one of the first extensions I load. This utility definitely makes finding an exact color code a breeze! Find the color of anything on a web page whether an image, background, or text.
- Rated 5 out of 5ruma David L, pred 8 letiColorZilla is an indispensable Design Tool. I regularly use it to identify colors in client supplied logos and images and to match the general color tone of web pages to prominent photographs displayed on the same page. ColorZilla's feature that automatically copies picked colors to the clipboard speeds the process of going back and forth to Photoshop to create matching graphics. The UI is clean and intuitive. And the CSS Gradient generator quickly creates the code for the much lighter weight option of using CSS instead of pixel image gradients. I highly recommend it.
- Rated 5 out of 5ruma lesliej, pred 8 letiI've been using ColorZilla daily for years and have found it indispensable. It's accuracy and flexibility exceed that of any other color-picker. Yes, the previous update had glitches but Alex promptly resolved them with today's update. (Thanks Alex!) I highly recommend this add-on.
- Rated 5 out of 5ruma csnodgr2, pred 8 letiI've been using this plugin for a couple years and it's helped tremendously to get colors I want to use in my web and graphic designs. Recently an update changed how the add-on worked and I couldn't get it to work at all. I emailed Alex and he quickly responded, we discovered the issue was my retina iMac. He fixed the issue with the latest version, thank you!
- Rated 3 out of 5ruma SamEM, pred 8 letiI LOVED ColorZilla - allowed you to pick out any color (RGB, CMYK, HEX) on the web - a great tool for designers & developers, or someone who just wants the exact color they see elsewhere. HOWEVER, with the add-on update i received today, the dropdown menu on the browser for this add-on is completely different. It looks older than the previous version. Previous version had copys readily available right there in the dropdown whether you needed hex or RGB. I would have given the previous version of ColorZilla 5 stars, but because this version seems to have rolled back the hands of time in design & function, I'm giving it a 3
- Rated 2 out of 5ruma schelly-1364607647.84, pred 8 letiI'm giving 2 stars because before the update it was a 5 star add-on. If a quickly-deployed new update comes out to fix the add-on, I'll change my review to 5 stars. But if you have an add-on that doesn't do what it's advertised to do... the stars have got to go away.
- Rated 1 out of 5ruma CanIregisterThisTime, pred 8 letiThis morning I was on a conference call, reading something from a webpage to a client. Suddendly, mid-sentence, ColorZilla decides it wants me to read them "Colorzilla Updated" instead. I wasn't standing next to my computer, so it sat there for several seconds before I was able to continue doing what I was doing. It made me look unprofessional in front of clients and my boss. All this for an addon I've had on my machine for less than 48 hours and have used ONCE (worked fine, at least). Will uninstall.
- Rated 5 out of 5ruma Firefox okisanel 7006704, pred 8 letiThis is a fantastic tool I use all the time when working on my websites and projects. If you deal with color, install this. I wish it ran in windows' system tray so i could use it anywhere.

xtalüx rutzijol pred 8 letiHello, please try the latest version v3.3. It should fix the issues you were experiencing.
If it fixes things, we would appreciate if you could consider amending your review.
In case of any issues please feel free to contact us at http://colorzilla.com/contact/. - Rated 5 out of 5ruma jenka1980, pred 8 letiHas all you can think of for color sampling on the web page and much more. Honestly, once I thought that color sampler from web developer tools is enough and I can remove this add-on, so naive of me.
