The Developer gets the coding up to date almost immediately whenever YouTube makes a change to their own coding (this is their attempt to stop people from downloading and will be a constant thing, so get used to it).
Users get errors on this plug-in when YouTube changes the code, then they're ignorant enough to put up a bad review. IGNORE THAT. Use this plug-in. It's the best and most versatile I've used BY FAR.

When this downloader appears to be broken it is because Youtube has made changes which have created problems. I am on satellite for internet and this is about the only way I can enjoy my favorite Youtube videos. My service is very limited so no streaming or watching videos live or I burn up my allotted download time. We are offered a free zone from 3 AM to 8 AM. When I get up in the morning I download all the videos I want to watch later, while I can use the free zone. Downloading is much faster than viewing live so using the downloader allows me to download multiple favorites. Without this ability I would probably not view Youtube very often.
