There is a conflict with this extension and SponsorBlock.
I've reverted to an older version of this extension just so SponsorBlock works again.

I used to use this plugin to play my videos at specific speed without it changing back to 1x. But now after some dumb update it stopped doing it. Atleast add an option to override or remove it without removing speeds that are higher than 2x. My disappointment is immesuarable and my day is ruined.

A must have for YouTube, unfortunately in the latest 2.0.128 the option to disable WebM/VP9 codecs and force H.264 stopped working. Until an update can fix this i had to go back to enhanced-h264ify

YouTube is utterly unwatchable without this app. Download it now.

YouTube streams are busted as others have said and either stutter like crazy or often end the stream prematurely while it's still going. Chat still works no matter what but the actual video itself no matter who the streamer is extremely unreliable and is fixed instantly by turning off the extension. Please fix as base YouTube sucks without this extension.

Edit: Thanks for rolling back the update! Reinstalled the extension to 2.0.126.1 and working normally now.

Version 2.0.128 causes video to automatically pause when in the background (switching to another tab, switching to another program, etc)

Please fix, or add an option to enable/disable this behaviour.

This needs an update. More than half the time it just doesn't work anymore.

Version .128 - the playback speed does not maintain its setting in the same tab - eg. while viewing the "watch later", or a playlist. On the next video, it resets itself back to the default speed in the options, which is not how it worked in version .126.

The default speed should only be used on a new tab/window.


I am giving 1 star to get the dev's attention on this regression.

Overall great but as of Nov 14 there's been a bug with this causing videos/streams to just STOP playing. Not pause, stop. I have to refresh the entire page to make them work again. It works fine on chrome and for firefox I narrowed it down to this extension - everything is fine once I disable this.

It is better now, but not working in all YouTube tabs... IDK why, but I use Firefox Nightly, maybe that was not tested in this Browser. So please include Nightly in compatibility list.

As mentioned in a below review, Enhancer currently breaks Sponsorblock. You have to revert to version 2.0.126.1 to fix the issue. For anyone trying to do that, here's how: on the addons page (here) scroll down to "More information" and press "see all versions" to get access to previous versions, then select version 2.0.126.1 and install.

Amazing and extremely useful add-on which truly enhances YouTube. However since the latest update Enhancer often won't show up and boost the volume. Please fix this.

The latest 2.0.128 update seems to conflict with SponsorBlock as the latter no longer skips skippable segments in videos when 2.0.128 is installed. I installed the previous 2.0.126.1 and this fixed it.
