This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Inlexa for Firefox extension, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

Sign in and account status
You are required to create a user account in order to use the Inlexa for Firefox extension. You can sign in to Inlexa with a free trial account or by purchasing a premium plan at our websites inlexa.es or inlexa.cat. In order to create an account, you will need to provide Inlexa with your name and email address. We may use your email address to send you information about your account or marketing messages (as permitted by applicable law).

Checking text
When Inlexa for Firefox is initialized in a textbox, the text is sent to our servers so that Inlexa can provide writing suggestions and corrections. This data may also be used where necessary to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Inlexa and its users, to comply with our legal obligations, such as responding to warrants, court orders, or other legal processes, or to improve the algorithms underlying our services. Inlexa’s icon or a green dot is displayed in text fields when Inlexa for Firefox is initialized. Our Products are designed to avoid password fields.

Product usage logs
We may collect data on how you use the Product in order to improve it. When you use the Products, Inlexa may automatically collect:

• Technical data and device information—this includes data such as location as indicated by IP address, date and time of use, language preference, operating system, and browser type.
• Data about your use of the product—this includes data such as when you log in or out, turn Inlexa on or off, change settings, or use product features, like looking up definitions and synonyms, using learn more, and using the Inlexa menu.

Customer support
We may collect and use the information you provide when you contact us to provide you with customer service, address any technical issues that you encounter, or to improve our products and services.

Sharing your information
We use a small number of trusted third parties to provide the Inlexa for Firefox extension. For example, we use Gmail to contact you, we use Amazon Web Services to store text content, FastSpring to process payments, and Freshdesk to track customer support requests. We may also share the information that we collect through the Firefox extension as required by law, such as in response to a court order or law enforcement request; if necessary to protect our rights or the rights of others; or in connection with a corporate restructuring. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

Changes to this Policy
We will notify you of any material changes that impact your rights under this Policy by, for example, sending you an email to your most recently provided email address and post any other revisions to this Policy here along with their effective date. Your continued use of Inlexa after any change means that you agree with, and consent to be bound by, the new Policy.
