I am wondering if it is possible to enable the copy / paste functions inside of the sidebar. It does not seem to work for Firefox either by shortcut keys or mouse context menus (using Mac OS)

It does what it says just fine. I also like that there's an option to "export notes". But when I use dark mode, there's this jarring white bar at the bottom. And the "3 dots" button blends in with it. Also why isn't this a standard function and not an extension?

"Add to notes" right click menu entry removes paragraph. All the paragraphed texts are getting joined. This makes the note text somewhat garbled. You are well capable of adding an option for keeping paragraphs.

Again, adding a floating button for selected text will make it easier to send the text to the note.

If you are determined to shut it down, who can stop you! None. But please give a second thought about keeping NOTES alive.

Notes by Firefox is a really good extension for note taking within browser but saddly the extension is being discontinued after November 1, 2020

Perfect app to support a note-light workflow. I really hope that Mozilla can pick up the development. Although the app works well from the side panel and the Android app is nice and clean, there is an annoying bug where you need to log in quite often in the Android app. This is the only thing that disturbs an otherwise clean, easy, safe and open source experience.

Nettes Addon und ich bin Fan von der Idee. Leider ist es aber nicht gerade ressourcenschonend sobald man die Notiz-Bar öffnet und die Download-Grenze von 50.000 für die zugehörige App auf Android wurde auch bereits erreicht, sodass ich die Notizen nicht synchronisieren kann. Trotzdem bleibe ich bei dem Addon, weil Mozilla sorgsam mit den Daten umzugehen scheint und die App bestimmt auch noch ihren regulären Release bekommt.

I like this extension which remains simple. It lacks some features that would make it the perfect application for synchronized notes: labels/tags to organize notes, archive, list with checkbox (for a to-do list)... But above all, keep a simple application focused on the essentials. Too many note-taking apps have become monsters of complexity.
I also use the app on Android. By the way, I have a permanent bug. My Mozilla account is in 2FA. I'm logged out every 24 hours on the Android app. It's not convenient to have to log in so often to update the notes. No problem on my different Firefox deskptop.

It works well, it syncs with my Android phone well, and it has makdown support! Downside: most of the apps to take notes allow you to classify notes by tags, folders... it would be nice to have tags, and be able to filter by them. Also the lack of a search future makes it not an option for large number of notes.

Well, since it was released in the Firefox's Pilot Project, I started to use this tool and, sincerely, I can't imagine my browser without this add-on anymore, but there's something I think it still missing.

It would be awesome if we could organize our notes in separate folders.

It would be great adding multi-notepad and/or tree style notes
