I have been through several of the other password managers and Proton Pass is night and day the best so far. I'm also appreciative of PP's focus on privacy. Being able to set a pin to lock down your passwords after a specified interval is great and I love that I can generate 2FA codes right in Proton Pass and paste them into websites. An ideal companion to Firefox.

- Rated 2 out of 5ruma Matthew L Daniel, 4 moannen lynWriting a review for their extension is challenging because it's hard to know how much of the bad UX is from their extension and how much is just rot from their bad data model
That said, they could make the extension easier to use if they chose to. For example, if you want a new password field - not _the_ password field but _a_ new password field, your only recourse is to click on the huge plus, generate a password, then click edit on the item, create a new hidden text field and paste the generated password, being very careful not to allow anything to interfere with your clipboard in the interim. What a disaster. The gold standard (1Password) has a dedicated "password" field and underneath that field is a dedicated "generate password" action
The fact that Proton Pass has been stuck in this 2000s UX for as long as I've been using it demonstrates that they really don't care at all about their users, no matter how many "vote for features!!11" forums they offerTzolin rutzij b'anonel

Nice knowing all your passwords are safely stored and encrypted on Proton servers.

- Rated 5 out of 5ruma DJ, 4 moannen lynI've been using it for quite some time now (6 months+). I moved from 1Password to Proton suite. Proton Pass works just fine. it lacks the many options I've had in 1Pass, but honestly, barely used more than 2-3 categories.
So far, I've found only 2 websites that create a bit of an issue, by not allowing the login credentials to auto-populate.
Using the Unlimited (paid) version, totally worth it - Rated 5 out of 5ruma Wiking793, 4 moannen lyn
