Accessing Google from outside the United States usually results in a redirection to the country-specific version of the search engine. This extension ensures that search results are loaded from google.com in English when searching from the address bar or the right-click context menu.

The extension adds a new search provider named Google US to the browser which can be set as the default search engine and its search keyword can be customized from the browser's settings (about:preferences#search). Viewing local search results is possible by accessing Google as usual, the extension has no effect on pages opened while browsing.
