Sidebar for Google™ Search ruma Anthony

Sidebar for Google™ Search is a Firefox addon that enables you to easily search from browser sidebar.

Simply open search sidebar and type desired keyword. Please note, Google search sidebar is rendered in mobile view which is specially designed for small spaces such as sidebar. Closing the sidebar will completely unloads the search UI.

Within the sidebar, you will see top toolbar with 6 buttons. From left to right is back button which serves as browser back button. Next one is settings button which opens google settings for search (in mobile view). Third button is for loading the google homepage. Next is pop-out button which opens the current page in a new tab. Fifth button from left opens support page in a new tab. The last button is the forward button which acts as browser forward button.

Note 1: Sidebar for Google™ Search does NOT belong or related to the official Google website at all. It is basically an unofficial add-on that is developed and maintained independently. This unofficial add-on is a wrapper to the original Google website mobile-view UI and tries to make it usable as a browser add-on (in sidebar).

Note 2: Sidebar for Google™ Search add-on is only available for Firefox version 54 and above. This is because sidebar API for WebExtensions is only available in Firefox > v54.
