The VkIdUnlocker extension does not store, collect or share any user data.

It calls the vk.com REST API `users.get` method to get the user ID by his/her user name. The user name is retrieved from the location of the web page the extension is working on. No other data is send or requested.

The success of the operation does not depend on the user currently logged in vk.com since the requesting information is public and may be obtained even if requested out of active vk.com session. However, vk.com API request may send vk.com session cookies, if any.
