We are sorry for your frustration that our service is not completely free.

If a gallery has more than 20 pages, or if you rerun the extraction, you may consume all free extractions even with a single gallery.

However, it is not true that Locoloader “wants you to pay before you even know what you’re paying for.” Locoloader provides an unlimited number of test extractions, so everyone can verify whether it suits their needs before making a payment.

    You want people to pay to access content they’ve already paid for. Everything this add-on does is done locally by inspecting the page, grabbing the media, pictures are in base64 on the network tab and converting it from base64 back into an image.

    What exactly do you do that warrants at least $5 a month? There’s no servers you need to run, and there’s no extra content to pay you for. This is scam.

    one of these scams that wants you to pay before you even know what you're paying for. I tried to download a ABSURD, COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE single unit of devianart gallery [one](1)

    I somehow spent all of my "extractions" in this process. Keep in mind you're forced to either know beforehand you need an extension or waste them trying to make it work.

    Idk how good the service is, but when the marketing funnel is already predatory, I'd imagine the rest can't be that great

    Enabled add-on, then went back to website to download a video. The website told me that I needed to enable an add-on that I had already enabled in order to download. Not sure why it would not work properly

    Locoloader can be used for free, with a limit of 2 URL extractions every 6 hours, or with no limits for as little as $5/month. Each successful extraction provides one or more working download links.

    If you (re)extract more than 1 URL before downloading anything, you may reach the free limit even before your first download.

    this is a scam, you add the extension yet it says already use the locolader

    About as good as one could hope for from freemium. It doesn't limit you to only downloading small filesizes, or watermark images or any of the other annoying things other freemium services do to try and get you to upgrade ─ just limits the frequency with which you can use it.

    I saw someone who left a negative review mention slow download speeds, but I haven't seen that. I downloaded a 1.9 gig video in about 20 seconds.
