I'm sorry you had a disappointing experience with the extension.
I built it primarily for myself, and it does in fact have a few sharp edges as of today.
I'm actively working on it, so, with time the experience should improve and number of bugs decrease.
I believe I've seen this behavior myself a couple of times, I'm not really sure what's causing it.
I'll work on fixing the issue (https://github.com/y3g0r/scroll/issues/23) and I'll let you know when it's fixed.
