od uživatele hackerb9, před 7 měsíciReadX is currently the only TTS extension that works properly in Firefox/Android. You'd think that the alternative, ReadAloud, would be better since it is marked as recommended by Mozilla and has high quality voices, but that extension is unusable due to bugs.
ReadX is no frills and stable. I can stop it and start it anywhere in the page. The built-in voice is lousy, but understandable. I wish it could use Android's native TTS voices as I have the open source Piper voices installed and they sound fantastic. Still, until that is possible, this is what I'll use.

zveřejněno před 6 měsíciYou could get Piper for Android by installing the TTS engine APK and change settings to use it as the default TTS engine. from https://k2-fsa.github.io/sherpa/onnx/tts/apk-engine-cn.html
The downside to this method is It runs locally, it's not fast, and it uses a lot of battery power.

The ability to replace things with a Regex is something that I can't live without anymore.
No longer relevant:
My only complaint is that the RegEx seems to be case insensitive or does not support all features of regex. If it could be made case sensitive that would be awesome!Odpověď vývojáře
zveřejněno před 5 měsíciI wrote the RegEx feature to be case-insensitive by default, as it uses the =>gmi flag.
Add =>gm at the end and it will be case sensitive.
For example,
#RegEx=>a=>b will be case insensitive and replace all letters a with b
#RegEx=>a=>b=>gm will be case sensitive and use the global and multiline flags.
Note
You can use \b word boundaries, so it only replaced whole words.
A great place to experiment with RegEx to see what it does is RegEx101 website. - Hodnocení: 5 z 5od uživatele Eugene, před 7 měsíci
