Works exactly as intended. I wanted to remove YouTube comments because they're brainrot and I have a bad habit of reading them anyways. It removed YouTube comments so I'm happy.

It does a lot of other really nice QoL things as well so bonus. But yeah the comments are what I really wanted gone.

It works well overall, and greatly de-clutters YouTube.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to successfully remove the end screen recommendations anymore.

When I first installed this 2023 it worked great; I could block all the algorithmic parts of YouTube.
But it hasn't been updated since April 2024, and parts of it are starting to break, most notably the end-screen recommendations have started appearing again.
Using uBlock Origin, you can create filters to do pretty much everything that Unhook can do, so I will not be using this extension any more. If you don't want do bother with uBO filters, then Unhook may still be useful to you.

Amazing tool, and allowing you to slowly cordon off areas one by one helps it not immediately feel overwhelming. It'd be nice if this could get updated to fix some problems like search results being broken though :/

Estou usando faz pouco tempo, porém está extensão não tem segredo, é ótima para remover as distrações do Youtube e por eu poder customizar as coisas que eu quero remover, dá para eu manter minha eficiência e remover somente o que me atrapalha mesmo no youtube.

Seriously a lifesaver. Makes Youtube actually tolerable and removes all the distractions and ads. Incredibly effective, pair it with ublock ;)

It works well, when it works. For the most part it does, but after 2 years it is badly in need of an update. Additionally, the Android version doesn't have any way for you to open the settings to tweak what you want to see. The settings menu only appears during first-time setup, then never again.
It's potentially abandonware at this point, but I'll still use it for what benefit it does still provide.

A total life saver extension. Much help when trying to get rid of screen addiction.

Used to be a must have but it's in dire need of updates. It messes with Pocket tube. "Hide explore, Trending" in particular. Last update was in 2024.

Super gegen Prokrastination

Seems to hide PocketTubes Subscription Groups when enabled alongside the regular subscriptions list YouTube has by default rather than only YouTubes default subscriptions list. Idk if it is a YouTube change or this extensions change or what but it didn't used to do that until I noticed it did today. If that could get tweaked/fixed I'd give 5 Stars happily as this extension works great. Also it seems that using "hide explore/trending" hides the YouTubes subscription list instead of the explore section for movies, gaming etc. Maybe the hide subscriptions and hide explore section got mixed up?
