Data storage

All data is stored only on your device using the browser’s local storage:

• Product URLs you choose to track
• Product names and price history
• Your settings (e.g. daily check time, notification preference)

Nothing is sent to the developer or any third‑party server.

Network requests

The extension only makes requests to Amazon.in (https://www.amazon.in and https://amazon.in):

• When you add a product, the current tab’s page is read to get the product name and price.
• On the schedule you set, the extension fetches the product pages you track to read the current price.

These requests use the same URLs as opening those product pages in the browser. No other sites are contacted. No analytics, tracking, or advertising is used.

Permissions

• Storage: To save your list of products and price history locally.
• Alarms: To run the daily price check at your chosen time.
• Notifications: Optional; used only to notify you when a tracked price changes (if you enable it).
• Access to Amazon.in: Only to load the product pages you track and read the price from the page.
