    Can you please update the extension? The bug should be fixed in the latest version!

    Perfect, got it yesterday for my browser, it had trouble with muting videos, but at the same day I got this add-on this problem get fixed, so now it's perfect for finding songs. Thank you developers for this add-on, cause it really sucked to not have normal song identifier in Firefox.

    Don't know how to answer normally, so I'll just update my review.
    Well that's interesting, because from my side, only thing that I did was turning off then on add-on. Actually at add-ons manager at firefox, it's saying: "Last Updated July 7, 2025", so I thought that something changed from your side.

    Thanks a lot! Can you please say more about what fixed the problem for you? Because we didn't change anything and still need to address the bug

    Edit: we had updated the extension description, but not the extension itself.

    (That said, we're releasing a new version that should hopefully fix this issue for everyone.)

    It mutes the sound in the browser every time I try to ID a song playing. Have to refresh the page just to get sound back again

    Update 28.07.2025: Seems to work now, thanks

    It just doesn't work.
    Open site, hear music.
    Click on extension - music is muted, but extension doesn't work.

    Abandonware, probably for the sole purpose of advertising a paid service. There is a known issue where it mutes your tab after searching for a song, which hasn't been fixed for months.

Definitely wasn't the case of abandoning the extension or using it for advertising a service; it's just incredibly tricky to get audio recording working on Firefox, as the browser doesn't support direct audio capture from the tab. Took us hundreds of lines of fairly complicated code.)

    It keeps getting muted when using it. I don't hear anything until I refresh it.

    Stopped working. Anytime I try to identify a song that's playing now, the audio gets muted.

    It used to work most of the time and find the music playing in multiple video formats. But these days for some reason youtube and other video formats lose all sound whenever I try to use the extension. And need to be refreshed to get sound again.

    Additionally the Reddit video player (cursed be its name) doesn't work too well with it and it can't recognise the sound from it.

    It's pretty good a identifying songs, but while it's listening, it mutes the audio, and it doesn't come back until you refresh the page.

    guys, you just can use an old version of the addon, v3.1.6 is still works for free on youtube and don`t mute tab.

    BUT, JFYI, song recognition on some sites, like twitch is PAID and on some other sites (like top-radio.ru) it is just dont working ("start error: can't find any unpaused media elements", its said)..

    What happened was that we tried to fix audio recording that basically stopped working on YouTube and many other websites, but introduced a bug that prevented audio from being played back. All of this should now be fixed, and the extension works almost everywhere.)

    глючное какое-то. После запуска попытки распознать музыку на странице в ютуб, напрочь пропадает звук и пока не отключишь расширение - так и не восстанавливается.
