It ACTUALLY reverts the ugly new video UI back to the way it used to be. That is literally all I needed this for. Good GOSH, I'm getting so sick of having to install a new extension every time YouTube does something...

That being said, I'm also very grateful it's an option available to me, or I probably wouldn't even be on the internet at all any more. Thank you, extension developers, your work is appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that, for some reason, I have to refresh the video page (sometimes more than once) to get the old UI to apply. Not sure why, but it's worth it, and still better than my previous method of "embed the video into a Tumblr post and just watch it in the 'new post' creator".

adds a ton of handy toggles, both to remove annoying youtube features, add handy new ones, and in general customize your experience


the addons UI is very concise and makes figuring out all the features easy. Every other addon Dev should take notes.

a big fan of how everything is turn on/off so you can customize what you want to use.

The best thing internet has. Would be nice, if the next update would help hide auto dubbed channels, but even if it doesn't it is still worth it.

I've tried hiding shorts since they came out and this fixed it, thank you. Also if its possible would love to see setting for the size of player ui/buttons. They seem to be a lot bigger then before.

Jonny Bunana is better than most of the Youtube staff, it's silly to think we need this addon in 2025.. but today i woke up to enlarged Youtube thumbnails that were comically bad and this addon took care of all of the bad decisions coming from Youtube HQ.

This is the only addon I know that effectively blocks YT autoplay. Good one. Many thanks.

I love this extension, but I wish it had an option to set the default video quality (ex: 1080p).

Probably the most useful add-on I have outside of uBlock. Quick FYI, though... Looks like the "Hide Playlist" option is currently just hiding all videos. Not even close to a big deal, but thought you should know.

Currently, this extension flags Youtube's adblock detection making it unusable. Disabling it fixes it.

it might just be better than sponsorblock when it comes to youtube extensions. the sheer amount of control it gives you over youtube is just mindblowing. it does shit i didnt know was possible. the freedom it gives you was probably what americans were dreaming about in the american dream era. 10/10 would donate to the developer if i wasnt broke
