Awesome RSS/Atom reader, good replacement for Youtube's annoying notification system. Edit: Had an issue, dev contacted me and fixed it!

NOTE 1: Update as FYI for others as well: Feedbro 4.2.2 fires "When new article arrives" rules for also updated articles. This means that when the feed author updates an article, you'll get a desktop notification if you have a matching rule.

We'll change this in 4.2.5 (currently in review queue) so that feed article update does NOT fire desktop notification, IFTTT, play sound actions and does NOT mark the updated article as unread.

NOTE 2: To everyone wondering why they got some duplicate entries in some of their Atom feeds: it can happen just once per feed and is related to an internal change (we added GUID checking and the old existing entries in your local database didn't have GUID values because those weren't supported before). Long story short: even if you might get some duplicates after updating due to this, you won't get them in the future for those feeds since the GUID checking will prevent that.

    It is very good, almost perfect. The rules feature is very complete.
    Unfortunately it lacks a "search" feature (or I couldn't find it), which would be very useful.

    love it! but can we get an option to prevent the theme from changing the colors of the html article content? a lot of my articles look all weird because the theme is changing the background color

    Ebay feeds don't load anymore. Developers are not responding either. Plugin not updated in a year either.

    First Impressions are that it's exactly what I was looking for. I haven't found an empty feed option but I can live without thay.

    I wanted to get the feed article in full through your help file so that I could read the articles offline.

    When only online, it just shows the web page.

    After going offline, it searches the content by trying to connect again


    Please let me know if you could improve it further. And provides the content offline

    Then I don't have to search one which provides such feature

    This has been the perfect feed reader for my needs, lots of functionality, except: I miss a way to move my starred articles over to a new browser installation. Is there a way to do this? Some of these articles are a couple of years old.

    One of the more advanced feed readers out there.
    Can't make it work in private windows in spite of setting it to do so.

    So far the best RSS add-on, but it definitely needs an undelete / recycle-bin option!
    Edit 2025.03.16: Lately it keeps losing all messages (read/unread) messages after browser restart. Peeping for alternatives...

    Does everything it says on the tin, it's simple and lightweight.
    just needs an option to limit/block notifications on startup
