HOW IT WORKS

1. Set up your profile with your name, email, phone, address, work info, and anything else you want Fillsnap to fill in.
2. Visit any page with a form you want to fill.
3. Right-click the page and choose "Fill with Fillsnap ⚡", press Alt+F, or click the extension icon and hit Fill. The form fills in a couple of seconds. Review the values before you submit — you're always in control.

SMART FORM UNDERSTANDING

Fillsnap doesn't just match field names. It reads each form's structure and figures out what goes where using six intelligent strategies:

• Direct — one profile field maps to one form field (your name goes into the "Name" box)
• Select — picks the right option from dropdowns, even custom comboboxes and searchable selects
• Split — breaks one value into multiple fields when needed (extracts "+90" from your phone number into a country code field; splits "Jane Doe" into first and last name)
• Combine — merges multiple profile fields into one (joins street, city, and zip into a single address box)
• Derive — computes values from your data (pulls your domain from your email)
• Skip — intelligently refuses to fill sensitive fields (more on that below)

• Fill password fields (always skipped — passwords are not Fillsnap's job)
• Auto-check consent, terms of service, or privacy policy checkboxes (you must read and agree yourself)
• Fill CAPTCHAs or human-verification challenges
• Fill file upload inputs
• Submit forms for you — you always review and click submit

After a fill, you can undo it with one click and restore the page to exactly how it was before.

PRIVACY — HOW YOUR DATA IS HANDLED
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Let's be clear and honest about this — it matters.

Your profile data is stored locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded anywhere until you try to fill a form.

When you fill a form, Fillsnap sends two things to our AI: the form's structure (the field labels and types) and your profile values. This lets the AI make precise decisions — picking the right country from a dropdown, formatting your phone number correctly, selecting your birth date in whatever format the form expects. Your data is used only for that single fill request and is never stored, logged, or sold. We don't build a profile of you on our servers.

Prefer to be more cautious? Switch on Enhanced Privacy Mode in settings. In that mode, only field names (like "first_name" or "email") are sent to the AI — never your actual values. Matching happens locally on your device. You trade a bit of accuracy on tricky dropdowns and custom formats for extra privacy.

Cloud sync across devices is optional, off by default, and available on paid plans. When enabled, every field is encrypted with AES-GCM on your device using a key that only you hold — we can't read your synced data even if we wanted to.

You decide what sites Fillsnap works on. Use the built-in blocklist to exclude specific sites (or entire subdomains), or switch to allowlist mode to restrict Fillsnap to only the sites you approve.
