EXCELLENT, especially (in my case) to remove the history of selected Recently Closed Tabs, BUT, to set it up it's a bit awkward! Instead of putting it in contextual menu why don't you just add an icon in the toolbar (like every other add-ons??

Works initially, but blacklist keeps getting cleared (when updating?). This absolutely needs to be fixed. Otherwise the add-on is useless.

I'm using it since a few weeks, and it seems to work without problems. Removing domains from the blacklist is a little bit cumbersome, but that's no reason to give only 4 stars, I think.

This is exactly what I wanted. Some sites pollute your history because they make so many entries. Just block them and they don't show up in your history.

As you stated. The bug is causing some issues on the menu options page.

Options menu doesn't work. Add on is practically useless at its current state. FF 57

I am sorry about that; it is a known bug in FF56/57 that has been addressed in 58: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1385548

I am currently working on a fix for it, but I have no timeline at present: https://github.com/kainsavage/HistoryBlock/issues/8

This works in Firefox Quantum! :)
Just go to the webpage you want to have forgotten and open the context menu anywhere on the webpage.
Then hit the button "History Block" and block this site --> Done
