This Privacy Policy sets forth the privacy practices of KUNSTSURFER for:
1. KUNSTSURFER add-on (browser extension)
2. KUNSTSURFER website located at https ://www.kunstsurfer.org and any other KUNSTSURFER websites or services that link to this Privacy Policy, (collectively, the ‘Websites’);
3. KUNSTSURFER newsletter
When this Privacy Policy does not apply
1. Our Websites contain links to other websites. The information practices and the content of such other websites are governed by the privacy notices of such other websites.
2. The KUNSTSURFER add-on works on the websites you visit, their products and the online advertisement showing there. The collection of your information by these third parties is governed by the Third-Party Services’s privacy policies and terms. What data do we collect?
KUNSTSURFER collects the following data:
• Personal identification information for the newsletter (Name, email address)
• Log Data: information automatically recorded by the Services about how a person uses our Services and/or Websites, such as IP addresses, device and browser type, operating system, the pages or features of our Websites or Services to which a user browsed, the time spent on those pages or features, the frequency with which the Services is used by a user, search terms used by a user, the links on the Service that a user clicked on or used, and other statistics.

You directly provide KUNSTSURFER with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
• Install and use the KUNSTSURFER browser extension
• Register online to our newsletter
• Use or view our website via your browser's cookies.
How will we use your data?
KUNSTSURFER collects your data so that we can:
• Know how the extension is working
• Email you with updates on our activities and Services.
KUNSTSURFER shares the data with our artist-programmer Michael Aschauer. We will summarise data concerning the usage of the application (number of users, average time spent, etc.) and use it for future funding applications and communication on our website.
How do we store your data?
KUNSTSURFER securely stores your data in a German cloud center protected by the EU privacy laws.KUNSTSURFER will keep your personal data for the newsletter until you opt-out or we using it. We keep log data until we cease our Services. If you do so, your data will be deleted.
Marketing (Newsletter)
KUNSTSURFER would like to send you information about services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partners (i.e. any of the artistic institutions, collectives, exhibition spaces, artists we will collaborate with).
If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.
You have the right at any time to stop KUNSTSURFER from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other members of KUNSTSURFER.
