Now I can keep the must-login-but-will-track-your-online-activity sites in their own containers, and surf the web without Google/Facebook/... following me on every click. Also makes me feel a bit safer, knowing my work and bank related website cookies cannot be abused by random sites I pass by. A missing feature however (and the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars) is that it isn't linked with bookmarks, it would be so much better if bookmarks could have a setting "open in container", that would probably also fix Tab Stash, were now all tabs are restored in default container.

- Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele Uživatel Firefoxu - 16062270, před 5 letyThe Multi-Account Containers extension for Firefox is a useful addition. I typically have a couple dozen tabs open at any given time, which clutters up the tab bar and makes it difficult to find a given tab. Categorizing the tabs into containers fixes this problem, with the ability to hide and show containers of tabs.
I didn't give a five-star rating to the Multi-Account Containers extension because there are some (in my opinion) missing features and functionality which I won't go into here, but one disappointment is that containers and their tabs are not saved to the 'cloud'. When I had my tabs and containers set up how I wanted them, I switched to an OS on another partition where I had Firefox installed. When I logged into Firefox, I was expecting my tabs and containers to sync with what I had set up in the other instance of Firefox and show up in this instance. They did not.Odpověď vývojáře
zveřejněno před 5 letyIf your browser is set to sync add-ons and open tabs, a new Firefox install should bring over all of your add-ons, all of your containers, and all of your open tabs. If that's not working, you could file a bug here: https://github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers/issues/new - Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele Marcin, před 5 lety

Reopen url in specific container doesn't work in FF 78, if it already associated to another container.
For example. I have two containers: Home and Work. I associate Gmail with Home container. But if i try to reopen it in Work container then it opens in Home container again.
This scenario works correct in FF 77.
And yet.
I would like to export rules in this extension for backup it. Can you add this feature? - Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele Uživatel Firefoxu - 14167147, před 5 lety

- Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele Ash, před 5 letyPretty good. Shared history among profiles dilutes the usefulness, and the stupid "You've opened 100 container tabs!" interstitial breaks keyboard shortcuts, forcing you to use the mouse to continue. At least that only happens once per installation (unless there are more milestones coming...)
- Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele Kyna Tiona, před 5 letyThe UI can be a little clumsy in a few places, though for the most part it's useful enough that I'm willing to overlook that. I'm definitely happy that as far as I can tell, tabs in a hidden container are maintained between sessions (assuming you have that option turned on) and can't be accidentally closed with the "close all other tabs" or "close all tabs to the right" buttons. On the other hand, tabs almost never reload properly from the "undo close tab" button, so if I do accidentally press the "close all tabs" button, everything is gone. It's extremely frustrating.

- Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele sindrenm, před 5 letyAlmost perfect! Allows you to set certain sites to always open in a specified container, which is perfect for separating personal tabs from work-related tabs. If this could also work for paths as well (and not just on the domain/subdomain level) that'd be fantastic! Being able to use my work profile for github.com/[workspace] and figma.com/[workspace], for example, would absolutely rock my world.

I really need the containers to be grouped (for easier access and management), manually sorted and bookmarked with container information attached to be easily restored.
I am developing a web site. I have test users with their roles on site. For each user I created an individual container. 6 roles require 6 pages to be restored every time I reload the browser. I want them be restored automatically in their respective container at the time when the Bookmark was created. One site, several bookmarks with individual containers for each test user/role.
ORIGINAL REVIEW 2 years ago
I used to open Chrome for one Google account and Firefox for another. To check business emails on Gmail and to view videos on YouTube, for example. It consumed quite a lot of resources on my old Dell Vostro 3700. Now, I can manage all my "personas" in Firefox alone, which I personally like more.
But, the new "problem" now is it's hard to find necessary tab on Windows task panel. So, I suggest, that not only individual tabs can be marked as containers, but every FireFox window could be assigned a default "persona" with different coloring and EVEN logo (I like the Fox, but sometimes it'd be useful to have those personalized icons to faster localize necessary tabs). PS. I use A LOT OF tabs (up to 50 in one session, I guess). So, saving time trying to locate a necessary tab would be cool.
On the whole, this is a really cool feature which is worth taking time to understand how to use. Firefox, please make a new button - Learn the Feature - so that it would be like an ed course with games, videos and tests (reading is boring and confusing, as you know). - Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele Uživatel Firefoxu - 13923535, před 5 lety

- Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele Uživatel Firefoxu - 14826146, před 5 letyMulti-Account Containers must be one of the most useful Addons arround. Recently though it is not possible to open a site in another container if it has been assigned a default container.
