Location data (GPS or selected location)
Used to calculate accurate prayer times for your area.

Prayer and app settings
Such as selected calculation method, theme, and related preferences.

Qur'an player state and progress
Such as last played surah/ayah, listened time, and related playback progress.

Technical request data
Basic technical data needed to call external APIs (for example, IP/request metadata handled by those API providers).

1. Why we process this data
   We process data only to provide extension features, including:

Prayer times and live countdown
Location-aware calculations
Qur'an playback and resume functionality
Sync/continuity with prayertime.live features
3. Where data is stored
Browser local extension storage is used for settings and progress.
Some functionality may interact with prayertime.live to keep experience consistent between platform and extension.
The extension also requests data from third-party services required for core functionality (for example prayer time, geocoding, and Qur'an audio APIs).
4. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising profiles.
Data is shared only with service providers necessary to deliver requested functionality.
5. Retention and control
Data remains in your browser storage until removed.
You can clear extension/browser data at any time.
Uninstalling the extension removes locally stored extension data (subject to browser behavior).
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by the extension.

   The extension is not directed specifically to children under the age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
