However, when going through websites and updating old vulnerable passwords, Proton Pass did not save or offer to save the newly updated password. So after using the "suggest strong password" from Proton Pass, it never saves it! What's the point then?
Firefox asked immediately to save these after updating but Proton did not, making it the inferior product at the time of this review. Extremely disappointed and irritated. And yes "Prompt for auto-save" is turned on in the settings.

As a free offering, it's pretty good. As a paid offering, it is, with the exception of aliases, pretty awful. Autofill is incredibly inconsistent, frustrating to use and all around unreliable.Odpověď vývojáře

Store and generate passwords and all your credentials. Remember just one password. Generate secure passwords. Create aliases for your main email. Etc.
