I really like proton pass. So much so i paid for lifetime. The reason i can't give 5 stars is friction. Proton pass can't recognize some login fields and doesn't give you a easy way to handle that situation. You have pin it to the toolbar or navigate to it from extensions, open the extension, find the login info, copy it and paste it yourself. THERE IS NO EASIER WAY. What this extension really needs is a "right click menu button" to customize behavior or at least give you access to login information and fill the field i right clicked up by itself.

I really love proton pass. Please just give us RIGHT CLICK MENU !!!

Proton products are good but the lack of tech support and the fact a lot of their wording is rather vague on what they offer in their paid packages keep me from supporting them wholeheartedly.

Love the whole Proton suite for the privacy.

This extension is clean and, for the most part, responsive. It detects when you're creating a login on a new site and auto-adds it to your account, it detects when you're trying to log in and auto-fills the info for you, it offers to create a hide-your-email alias which you can later disable if you get spam emails sent to that alias, and more.

Detection isn't perfect and sometimes won't automatically work, but it's still very simple to click the extension, click the text to copy it, and paste it into the field.

I love Bitwarden and really appreciate their pricing, but ended up switching to Proton because I already had my email with them. As of this writing, I think the Proton apps and extensions have a leg up on Bitwarden.
