RIDICULOUS decision.
A free addon for paying users.
Who on freaking earth, heaven and hell came up with this amusing idea?
And they don't even write it clearly in the short description right next to "add to firefox", which is as far as most of us go when downloading something with a good reputation.

Seriously, who can be so greedy and mean to make such an addon only available to paying users?
Another famous VPN also offers 10GB free monthly and they offer an addon for everybody.
It totally makes sense.
There are already enough downsides with the free account. Let people use the app, so they can see if they like it. Not everybody wants a system wide VPN!

So not customer friendly.
And their people in Reddit even removed my post when I was asking about this.
I swear I will never pay for anything Proton now. EVER.

    requires REGISTRATION! no guest use!
    it is a complete nonsense as your web site with registration is BLOCKED in my country.
    So it is totally unusable in any way .... Unless you install another VPN to register your VPN, are you sure that is a journey for best experience??
    Silly that android app allows quest login.

    As others already pointed out, the extension disconnects, especially after long waits, and doesn't repair the connection by itself. Resulting in not loading/blank pages. I'm ready to get the "It's your fault, our extension is perfect do you have different DNS" template from the 1st level support without any product knowledge.

    Так пожалуй начну с того у кого проблема что не работает, по моей независимой экспертизе оказалось что не грузится из обращения "account.proton.me" к которому ркн закрыл доступ на уровне провайдера НО, оно решается "zapret-discord-youtube" с гита, вам необходимо добавить "account.proton.me" в генеральный лист и после того расширение начнёт работать после запуска батника.

    Касательно самого расширения, спасибо за бесплатную версию, в которой постоянно отваливаются сервера, если на телефоне он отлично работает то вот расширение дико ужасное, очень хотелось что бы сервера хоть подольше работали.

    Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, Russia is among the restrictive countries that are blocking VPN connections. Our teams are working to resolve the issue, but the restrictions are especially aggressive. For now, we suggest using the default 'Quick connect' option to try and establish a stable connection. Also, make sure that your browser and the Proton VPN extension are always up to date.

    Запускается один раз, дальше просто скидывает и выдает ошибку.

    Overall amazing extension, however whenever I close Firefox without turning Proton off it bricks the extension and I have to reinstall, not really their issue though
