Version 1.0.5 – Complete Refactoring & New Features

This release is a major overhaul of the entire codebase with many improvements:

New:
- Dark mode with manual toggle (system/light/dark)
- Search bar to filter links by title, URL, or tags
- Badge counter showing unread link count (green when current page is saved)
- Tag and description display on link cards
- "Add Link" modal on mobile app
- Animated toast notifications instead of plain alerts (mobile)

Improved:
- Complete rewrite of the core engine with better error handling
- Optimistic locking for safe parallel writes
- Offline cache – shows last known data when server is unreachable
- Draft auto-save – form inputs persist when the popup closes
- Filter: now defaults to "Unread" with reordered buttons
- Link count displayed in list header
- Save button moved to header bar to reclaim vertical space
- Current tab link card highlighted with green border
- URL input font now matches username/password fields
- Status messages auto-dismiss after 3 seconds

Fixed:
- Settings form data no longer lost when switching windows
- Dark mode now applies immediately on popup open
- Extension icon now renders correctly (PNG instead of SVG)
- Firefox compatibility restored (background.scripts manifest entry)
- Numerous code quality and type safety improvements

Behind the scenes:
- Full codebase refactoring into modular components
- 31 unit tests covering all CRUD operations and edge cases
- ESLint with zero warnings across all packages
- Upgraded to Tailwind CSS v4
