  1. No Data Collection: RenderScope does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any user data. We do not have servers to receive data, and the extension does not include any analytics software (like Google Analytics).
  2. Local Processing: All rendering comparisons and analysis occur entirely locally within your browser. The "Server-Side" view is generated by fetching the HTML directly from the source URL you provide, without sending it to any third party.
  3. Permission Usage:
    activeTab / tabs: Used only to read the current tab's URL for your convenience (to pre-fill the input field) and to open the comparison viewer in a new tab.
    declarativeNetRequest / <all_urls>: Used solely to modify response headers (X-Frame-Options, CSP) for the specific requests made within the extension's viewer, allowing websites to be displayed in the side-by-side iframes. This functionality does not affect your normal browsing.
  4. No Account Required: The extension functions fully without creating an account or logging in.
