Based on the code between the v1.2 and v1.3, all that was added is an adware popup once the user updated with no indication of it being from this extension. Just to let people know, It is NOT malicious between either versions but transparency would be very appreciated on why the 7ankyou.com referral link opens without user intent. If you use this, I would recommend downgrading to v1.2 and not updating or just removing the extension just in case anything seriously malicious gets added in a future version.

It's either compromised, or the developer is maliciously trying to push a monetization service "7ankyou.com" on its "thank you" or "patch notes" page

This works perfectly for hiding the UI on Google Maps!
