TikTok Pro Tools — Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect
   None. This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data, usage analytics, browsing history, identifiers, or telemetry of any kind.
2. Local storage
   User preferences (EQ settings, enabled features, keyword blocklist, watch-time counters) are stored exclusively on your device via the standard WebExtension storage API. This data never leaves your browser.
3. Network requests
   The extension issues outbound requests only in response to explicit user actions:
   a) tikwm.com — when you click a download button or paste a URL in the downloader, the public video URL is sent to tikwm.com to resolve direct media links. No account information is shared.
   b) tiktok.com — when the optional "Product Viewer" feature is enabled, the extension fetches the public product or video page from tiktok.com to extract publicly visible product metadata (name, image, price, seller). These are the same pages anyone can visit in a browser.
   No request is sent to any server controlled by the author.
4. Permissions
   Each permission requested in the manifest is used solely to implement a feature described on the listing page. The extension never reads, modifies, or exfiltrates personal content, passwords, cookies, or authentication tokens.
5. Third parties
   tikwm.com is an independent third-party service. Refer to its own policy for its terms. The extension author has no affiliation with tikwm.com or ByteDance Ltd.
6. Children
   The extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them (it collects none from anyone).
7. Changes
   Any change to this policy will be published alongside new extension versions on addons.mozilla.org.
