- The add-on requires permission to operate with browser tabs (focus and close tabs) without prompting in order to have only one tab with the active Webtop.

- The add-on requires permission to send notifications in order to inform the user about new messages, contacts, and Unet notifications.
- The add-on requires permission to access the contents of any browser tab so that the user can know whether the current site is hosted by Unet.
