It would be amazing if this also worked on the Firefox pop out video player too! I'm not sure if that's even possible, but it would pretty much make this plug-in perfect for my use case. Thanks!

Sadly, yes, currently not possible with Firefox's built-in pop out player to my knowledge.
I may try my hand at making a separate extension that allows this on Chrome and mostly allows this for Firefox (with a window title-bar showing). Unfortunately it won't be perfect on YouTube because of all the extra queuing, mini players, custom playlists and such can't really be supported properly with the method I'm envisioning.
I'd love to learn more about this use case, like what websites you generally use for pop out and I assume on Windows? Feel free to email me if you feel like it :).
