od uživatele Sareth, před 5 letyHey! It's me again who tried to help you yesterday or earlier today with the long message, or at least try haha.
It didn't let me respond to your message so figured I'd just leave another review.
Anyway, I just realized how dumb I actually am. I didn't realize the add-on would create another sub-menu in your context menu when you right click on an image!!
I saw the "Convert and save your images as" add-on feature! I feel like this should have been obvious for me but for some reason I went straight to the normal "Save As" and I thought it would automatically convert images from there to .png and .jpg.
So maybe others are running into the exact same problem I did and didn't realize there was another menu for it haha. At least I think so.
But yeah, right now, extension works perfectly so far!
However on Twitter it seems like when you try to save an image using the extension you have to type in file extension manually. Reddit and Facebook it seems to work fine though!
Here is the Twitter image I tried to save, but I think it happens pretty much with any Twitter image

I am going to guess where people had this problem the most in my opinion was maybe Reddit, it's so far the only place where I saw it saved images as .webp.
Twitter and Facebook by default saves the images in .png or .jpg when you do the original Save As way.
Unless of course you need more help, then I won't leave another review haha.
But yeah, good luck and keep up the good work!

At first, I thought it was a shame it saved the image in .png but I then realised that plenty of options are available in the extensions parameters.
Marche à merveille, en ce qui me concerne.
Au début je trouvais dommage que l'image soit enregistré en .png pour ensuite réaliser que pleins d'options sont disponibles dans les paramètres de l'extension. - Hodnocení: 2 z 5od uživatele edenflare, před 10 měsíciSo far so good it works, don't know anything technical but it converts .avif to png format just right click on images and convert and then save location, don't know why .avif even exists it's a stupid format and firefox needs to fix this as I dont really like using alot of addons, it takes up memory in total, but this one is 5 star unless there's an issue in the future at some point.
Programmer deserves donations for this so if you're rich donate to the guy and buy them some coffee and a snack.
I feel like i need to update this, and think to myself there's no way to set a shortcut key so when holding a key on keyboard then left clicking the image should activate this addon, but there's no way to do this, I had to remove stars because multiple images is a tedius 1990's download caveman jobs - Hodnocení: 5 z 5od uživatele Seän Shepherd, před rokem

- Hodnocení: 1 z 5od uživatele Sporitus, před 2 letyВо-первых, эта приблуда просто не работает. А во вторых, конверция происходит не автоматически, а нужно выбирать отдельную менюшку по правой кнопке. Жутко неудобно

So guess where it was downloaded and where it was not downloaded. A setup!

zveřejněno před 2 letyThe image that you are trying to download is hosted on a server that uses some kind of hotlink protection. (you can only access it when you are active on certain webstites). unfortunately the nature of this addon makes it incompatible with these kinds of protection. instead of the image you got an error response that resulted in the empty file. - Hodnocení: 4 z 5od uživatele Dill, před 2 letyThis is very useful! However, I really want this to have an option for "convert and copy to clipboard".
Often, when I copy images onto storyboards, the service will compress larger images, destroying their utility for art.
If this extension had a convert + copy button, I'd be able to easily upload the tiny WebP files instead, which aren't compressed.
I know this works because I can do so manually, with `cwebp` on a terminal window. However, that's kind of slow, and it'd be super nice in this extension!
Anyway, I love this extension. Thanks for helping my workflow 🥰Odpověď vývojáře
zveřejněno před 2 letyThank you for the suggestion, I have looked into the matter and unfortunately Firefox is currently not capable of programmatically copying a webp image to the clipboard. Only png and jpeg formats are supported. - Hodnocení: 5 z 5od uživatele Uživatel Firefoxu - 14855386, před 2 letyVery useful & productive... best converter till now
