4.4 — Spotify: visual ads during ad breaks are now hidden.

Previous versions muted Spotify audio ads but the accompanying visuals
still displayed: the large ad card in the right sidebar ("Your music
will continue after the break" / "Learn more") and the advertiser
branding in the now-playing bar. These surfaces are now blanked for the
duration of the ad break and restored the moment your music resumes.
Also extended coverage of standard ad units (additional ad testids and
ad-network iframes). No new permissions.

YT Focus now supports Firefox for Android (beta).

The extension now works on m.youtube.com, bringing many of the same distraction-free controls from desktop to mobile. You can now hide Shorts (feed cards, shelves, and the bottom navigation tab), comments, related videos, ads, filter chips, topic shelves, and Mixes. Word and channel muting, autoplay blocking, and the clickbait remover also work on mobile, cleaning up thumbnails and titles.

This update adds one new permission for m.youtube.com only, allowing YT Focus to apply its filters on YouTube's mobile site. A few desktop-only features, including Blank Home, Hide Watched, and Channel Page Cleanup, are not available on mobile yet.

Now available in more languages.

The small number of features that rely on visible page text now support approximately 13 languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. This includes channel tabs such as Posts and Store, shelf titles like For You, and Spotify ad detection. Most other filters were already language-independent and continue to work regardless of language.

• Fixed false layout-change warnings that could appear on YouTube Mobile.
