I've been using this add-on for bitwarden in Firefox along with bitwarden free for about nine months now and it works very well to allow me to use unique complicated passwords. I've been gradually changing the passwords for everything I log into and I can get them filled in quickly and easily using the add-in. I've had Firefox as my default browser always and it rarely needs me to retype my master password. That just changed when I temporarily switched to a different default browser(for other reasons) but I'll be switching back to Firefox as default soon. Bitwarden is available on my android phone as well but it's more clunky as I haven't mastered that and don't use it much there. I'm sure I could make better use of it on the phone but I don't really need it there.

In conclusion, bitwarden free is great when used with its Firefox add-on.

    biometrics doesn't work. won't connect to the desktop app it says it needs or the native android app.

    Integration does not work at all and the team does not know how to fix it. Unprofessional paid service, I am not going to prolong my subscription.

    I used this for a long while and still have the app, but the extension's disabled. It reliably fails to unlock the vault, it just loops back to the unlock prompt without even a password field. But at least it's not actively harmful.

    For some time now, when entering the PIN in Bitwarden, the input is cleared before it can be confirmed. Only after entering the PIN a second time does it remain stable and allow confirmation. This issue occurs in both Firefox and Chromium browsers; I have not tested others. Bug or a security problem? It leaves me with an uneasy feeling

    works reasonably well but has a lot of annoying bugs that just seem to be getting worse over time. recently my biggest annoyance right now is that when I enter my PIN it sometimes doesn't register all key presses or sometimes just straight up deletes some of them for some reason.

    Love Bitwarden. Please add Customizable vault item templates and Additional Pre-defined item types (like Wifi passwords, SSH, database connections, etc.) Proton Pass implements them elegantly, and I would love to see these features come to Bitwarden.

    Overall a good addon, but I have an issue when entering the PIN code – it suddenly deletes the text and I have to type it again. Bug ??

    Generally a very good password manager, but a flaky add-on. I rely on Touch ID a lot and the add-on has had a bug for a very long time where Firefox full screen on macOS will be knocked out of fullscreen when you Touch ID. Also, the biometrics very rarely work first time after a reboot. Minor annoyances add up for something as frequently used as a password manager.

    The Bitwarden extension in Firefox version 115.33.0esr (64-bit) on Windows 7 64-bit installs but doesn't work. When clicking the "Bitwarden" icon on the extensions panel, the popup window appears and the loading circles spin indefinitely. The Bitwarden website logs in and works normally, but the extension does not work. For Google Chrome browser, the Bitwarden extension works correctly. Please fix the bug in Firefox. How to reproduce the problem? Uninstall the Bitwarden extension from Firefox — restart the browser — reinstall the Bitwarden extension — and it does not work.
