To get 5 stars I would like the cursor to be in the search field right after the click on the extension icon. As it is now, I have to click a second time before I can start typing.
If I remember correctly this used to be different in previous versions. - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 15432126, vor 7 MonatenGreat extension but requires lots of memory and I suspect memory leak problem. The longer the extension is opened the more memory it takes. Browser without this extension switched on takes 600MB memory and after switching it on takes 2600MB. This should be investigated. Users are complaining about that sinco at least 2022.
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Miro, vor 8 Monaten4 stars as in 80% of time when I type master password I have to do it twice and it takes time to login.

- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 18849248, vor 9 MonatenThey decided to put the copy button behind two clicks for absolutely NO REASON. Works great besides that
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 18832438, vor 10 MonatenI love this extension, but the new UI is pretty much a negative change. It's more difficult to fill in logins now and that's pretty frustrating.
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Peter Yates, vor 10 MonatenGood overall. The interface is a bit clunky in parts, especially since the copy buttons for password/OTP code were removed from the list. Still, wouldn't be without it.
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon ZachHeise, vor 10 MonatenThe new UI that was introduced at the end of 2024 is unfortunately, a downgrade. Previously, clicking the entire rectangle of a Vault entry, would autofill on the page. Now, clicking the rectangle opens the "edit" section. And now we need to click a tiny "Fill" button instead. This seems...backwards? The thing you are doing most often is wanting to fill/autofill. Editing is not the typical action, almost certainly. Why not give us an option to reverse this? Make "fill" be the thing that happens when you click anywhere on an entry, and make a tiny button that says "edit" - like how it used to be. Other than that, I don't have any real complaints about the UI changes - but it's a pretty major one.
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon aDena, vor 10 MonatenBitwarden is great and free, however if devs could look into the constant password generation happening in background, we don't need to have a generated password every 5sec permanently while we don't use the app, make no sense and extra calculation for nothing, also make it extremely harder to find recently generated ones we accidently lost from clipboard
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon GammaRay, vor 10 MonatenOne of the best free password managers. Allows you to save logins and other personal information in several different formats, and add custom fields to any login (which can be visible or hidden). This is a "must have" feature for me that some other password managers lack.
My only complaint is that after a recent update, Bitwarden has been a bit buggy, and sometimes you have to save logins twice after editing them before the updated information shows up. However, I mostly use the desktop app so idk if this issue is common for the browser extension too. - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Gloi, vor einem JahrCan you add hiding/censor of the email when the vault is locked for the current user?
Other than that the extension is great. - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Razoner, vor einem JahrThis Bitwarden extension does what I need it to, but I liked the old UI from 1-2 months more than the redesign. The redesign has made it more difficult to autofill my passwords and edit my logins.
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon John Mais, vor einem JahrMy favorite app and extension. But please, restore the previous UI — it was soo much better and intuitive.
Otherwise, it's a great password manager, thank you! - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Mraedis, vor einem JahrWould be 4 or 5 stars but the recent UI changes made it slower to use (more clicks) which for a tool you use a lot makes zero sense.
Update: thanks for the response, I've edited the review to reflect these settings. Still missing a quick copy for the TOTP codes though.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor einem JahrHi. Mare sure you are on version 2024.12.4 or above, then check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer. - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Gokul C, vor einem Jahr
