Worked fine for a few weeks, then made things update too fast to read, especially bad on Facebook

just to tell I am running hard mode and is easyafter about 1 hr reading. Keep up the good work am running latest beta on this extension

Very buggy. A lot of websites break. There were too many already, but now lets facebook trip too. That does it.

Of course, you can disable uBlock for sites it breaks, but what's the point of having it if you can't enable it?

убил весь день,выясняя почему "вдруг" на сайте facebook лента новостей просто сама по себе рефрешится, без остановки! иногда останавливается, но стоит только сделать скролл страницы как лента новостей опять начинает хаотично обновляться и постоянно выкидывать тебя на начало ленты. Нашел проблему - выключил в firefox дополнение uBlock и лента сразу замерла и все проблемы пропали.

hatte nicht den gewünschten Effekt erst der Perceptual Ad Blocker, den es leider nur mit Chrome gibt, zeigt Seiten wie Spiegel, Zeit, Bild wieder werbefrei und ohne Adblock Blockierung an! ich hoffe, den gibt es auch bald für firefox!

By far the best ad blocker out there. It's very light and it blocks almost every ad it finds compared to other well known competitors.

Unfortunately with firefox update 57.0.3 it seems to be crashing facebook (it auto-refreshes the page over and over again)

Brilliant extension. Only issue is that recent versions conflict with ebay search. So have reverted to 1.13.0 which works without issues.

uBlock Origin by Raymond Hill respects & safeguards user Privacy. Enough said. Need more? I am a programmer and have been using uBlock since I saw it about 3 years ago. Like the addon named Decentraleyes by Thomas Rientjes, uBlock is a vital addon if Privacy & Security matter. uBlock does what it claims to do AND works as stated. Read the Privacy policy of uBlock, it is how ALL Privacy policies should read. uBlock's Privacy policy states, "uBlock Origin does not collect any data of any kind. uBlock Origin has no home server. uBlock Origin doesn't embed any kind of analytic hooks in its code. The only time uBlock Origin connects to a remote server is to update the filter lists and other related assets. If you disable auto-update in the '3rd-party filters' pane in the dashboard, uBlock Origin will not connect to any remote server, unless you click 'Update now' and only if there are assets deemed 'out of date'".

We as netizins need to give a huge amount of respect to programmers like Raymond Hill and Thomas Rientjes for respecting their users and caring enough about fellow humans, in this age of absolute and unfettered greed, to enforce such awesome Privacy policies in modern products. Thank you Raymond.

Best advertisement blocker, constantly updated and very efficient, not much to say other than it's the best in the business at this moment, recommended for everyone, it's default setup is good for casual users and if you are a power user you can enable some more filter lists or even use medium-mode.
