I would filter Facebook ads. That's the primary goal but it's not good for that.
I wonder why none of the ad blockers are effective in filtering out facebok ads. It could be done. Sometimes one or the other filters it out successfully.

Now when I turn on this filter nothing comes in. It filters the whole facebook :-) I would say it's perfect now. :-) But unfortunately the non-advertising part would be nice to see.

For the ads appearing on Facebook, there may not be a whole lot we can do. Facebook has both "sponsored posts" and regular advertisements. However, only the latter are considered actual ads that we can block (and you shouldn't be seeing those). Facebook goes to great lengths to ensure that their sponsored posts remain unblocked, and they have an entire department dedicated to circumventing ad blockers.     Yes, it blocks some ads, but I am sick of it interrupting whatever I am doing by randomly opening up a new tab whenever it feels like. Not even upon opening the browser, just whenever you're trying to do something. There are better ways to get users to donate or notify them that they've updated. Please fix this. At least make these into browser notifications or something, just not highjacking my browser to a new tab while I'm doing something.

    We update AdBlock about every two weeks. If you haven’t upgraded to Premium, the payment page will display when we update, letting you know about any new features and offering you the option to upgrade. You can close the page by clicking the “x” on the tab. To turn the update page off entirely, click on the AdBlock icon on your browser’s toolbar, then the gear icon, and select the General tab.     I've been looking everywhere for an Ad-block that disables Ad-blocking everywhere except for specific sites that you set, and I finally found it!

    It advertises that ads on Twitch are blocked, but that's not the case. And you can't really report when something isn't working. I find alternatives like Ublock better.

    A decent ad blocker but the extension opens new tabs asking for donations way too frequently. Ad Block became the very thing it sought to destroy.

    For years AdBlock the free version worked very well for me. Now with a new computer it no longer works at all. So I bought the premium adblock version. Ads are still appearing on youtube. Yes, I have done the the General and and advanced setting procedures as recommended. I hate the ads... Is adblock loosing the ad-war or em I missing something?

    In general a nice add-on which does what it should, but as others said. The addon is frequently opening a new tab in foreground asking to donate or switch to paid version. I know no other addon (and there are very much great addons I use, that do not do this).

    it doesnt stop adverts on youtube or any of the other video content providers ive tried it with, what it does is this; often it opens another window and ask you for money so it doesnt open up that window in the future, the people who are giving this app 5* probably gave Ticktock 5* ratings as well. i gave it 2* becasue it was easy to uninstall, often these trype of money demanding apps are almost impossible to uninstall, so for that reason they get 2* from me,
