Privacy Policy for Deedoop
Last Updated: April 11, 2025
Deedoop is a browser extension and local application designed to enhance user productivity and enable private AI assistance.
Data Collection:
Deedoop does not collect or transmit any personal data to external servers. All processing is done locally on your device, including AI inference via models like Mistral, Phi, and DeepSeek. Peer-to-peer features are opt-in and encrypted.
Data Storage:
Only local data is stored (e.g., saved prompts, plugin settings). No cloud syncing or tracking occurs.
Permissions:
Deedoop requires permissions to access active browser tabs and manipulate the DOM in order to function as your in-browser AI agent. These permissions are strictly limited to user-initiated interactions.
Third-Party Services:
Deedoop optionally integrates with local model servers (e.g., Ollama or Deedoop Launcher) but does not rely on external APIs or telemetry.
Ownership:
All rights reserved by Alexander Edward Brygider.
