Awesome the one out of five times it works, but even having nailed all the about:config variables, it still sometimes is useless and no definition even appears.

If I could use this with selected words. sometimes I struggle to understand idioms.

2021 Review: Pretty disappointed. I wanted a dictionary for words I don't know, however the dictionary is apparently fairly basic. It *does* work, it just doesn't contain multiple uncommon words I tried.

Just as a notice for anyone who has issues making this extension work:
Using a VPN like Surfshark or NordVPN on your OS/Browser will prevent this extension from properly working if you enable certain settings; in the case of Surfshark, it's the NoBorders settings I believe. This can also be triggered in extreme cases of Adblocking on the OS level by softwares like Adguard if the settings are too strict. You're welcome!

Last update in Dec 2020. Please report this abandoned extension instead of installing.

It used to work well, but it won't define any words anymore. All I get is "No definition found"

I really want to love this extension. It's graphically pleasing, simple to use, very uncomplicated... but it's surprising just how many words I seek that it cannot provide a definition for. For that reason, after a year or two of using it, I have to find another with a more complete dictionary.

good idea, but uncommon words are not often defined (you know, the sort of words you need a dictionary for)

"No definition found" for all words that I tried, including "music" and "the".

Much faster and simpler than using Search With Google

Exactly what I need! No Google Translate, just a good English dictionary.

I think I was looking for something like this couple of years ago or more and that time nothing was this useful and easy to use. Navigate and see your definittion, what else. Just super!
