geschrieben am vor 18 StundenHi Djunbao, thanks for voicing this concern. doqment is intended as a replacement for Firefox's built-in PDF viewer. But Firefox doesn't tell you when the user is trying to load a PDF; doqment has to monitor it constantly and automatically load the viewer when needed. So whenever Firefox requests a web resource, doqment needs to check the response headers to determine if it is a PDF; and this needs the broad, all websites permission (as there is no fine-grained permissions API for this specific case). In a similar fashion, the navigation activity permission is needed to detect and handle local PDF files from your computer.
Nevertheless, doqment doesn't read *any* personal data or track *any* of your web activity, as stated in the description. This is not just a claim; the source code is fully open source on GitHub and anyone can inspect it's veracity. In any case, I'd like to humbly point out that this concern is not a good enough reason to give the extension a negative rating. If you are worried about privacy, please ignore the extension. If you *do use* the extension and has a legitimate problem regarding it's functionality, then I'd be happy to hear the feedback and address the issue. Thank you.
