Ever since Firefox 63 was released, this addon causes Firefox to become unresponsive with a huge memory leak when opening a large amount of tabs from a session restore. In most cases, the memory leak is so severe that my system starts swapping non-stop even though i have 4GB or RAM and the firefox process needs to be killed in order to get my computer to respond properly again.

Apparently, there was a change in the way Firefox opens tabs on startup with a new "discarded" property for lazy loading which causes issues with most addons dealing with tabs that havent been updated yet.

A workaround for this issue is to temporarily disable this addon before clicking on the button to restore tabs and to turn it back on once the tabs are loaded.

Other than that, this addon works great in sorting multiple tabs and closing duplicate tabs opened in error. I have no problem updating my review once this addon is updated to work with Firefox 63 or higher.

You're right about the memory leaks on startup, I witnessed it myself. I'll try to fix it as soon as I can. Thanks for your review anyway.

<EDIT>It's ok now, fixed it in the 1.6 version. I tested it with more than 1500 opened tabs, the responding time is pretty decent, no more memory leak</EDIT>

    Tried it as i couldn't find the previous app. I just definitely lost my 1500 tabs by closing the hundred which were supposed to be double. Before that, for some reason when i wanted the list of the double, it re arranged all my tab.
    Now i have to start again and some website are lost as i can't "open back closed tab". Well i can, i just won't open the child tab and tab that weren't open at that time.

    Sorting seems to be non-effective with extensions such as the ones below:

    I really like this plugin: does what it has to, simply and easy.
    Edit : version 1.7 solved a small issue version 1.6 of the plugin had with Waterfox,
    François solved it swiftly, so thank you very much for that.
    It's working perfect, as it did before.

    Hi,

    I fixed it in the version 1.7 which was just approved, I suggest you to update and give me your feedback.
    For the explanation, in the version 1.6 I used a function which was not supported by Waterfox.

    Brilliant add-on. Really really useful. Much better than the other one that just deletes duplicates, this one is actually useful. Use it on those days when you realise you have 60 tabs open, some of them important and you think "lets see where the duplicates are and remove those at least before I figure out the set I'm really using right now and what to do with the others". I thoroughly recommend it. Wasn't sure whether to give it 5 or 4 (Mozilla doesn't let you give it 4.9 stars). Faults: 1. The video on youtube is too fast, I'm not a computer! 2. Terrible name. It does what it says on the can yes, but a shorter name with the details in the explanation would be better. ok these are not reasons not to use it. It does do *exactly* what I want and what many other devs will need. In the end I've given it 5 so that it is more findable as its so good.

    I agree for the name, a concise one would have been better. Maybe in the next version if I make one.

    Does nothing at all on android. No toolbar access, nothing under tools menu, nothing in about:config.

    Click on the button and you have a little popup proposing you to order your tabs by title or url. Plus a list of your duplicate tabs allowing you to click and compare tabs with the popup staying open. The kind of smart behaviours that we're getting less accustomed to see in nowadays' software. Thank you for this addon.
