I had hopes for this, Mozilla seemingly killed the ability to save zoom levels since FF60, but there are too many bugs in this add-on.

I have to constantly reset every time I leave a page. As an example I use a home page that is an RSS reader, it becomes a mess, the main page reverts to some setting that I never used, the links within are a complete mess, they just randomly choose a zoom level.

There is no way to add custom settings, the Manage Rules setting is greyed out, nothing can be saved.

Too bad.

Update: I have checked "enable" many times both under options in my add-ons list and using the icon on the toolbar (or whatever it's now called), it doesn't matter, it won't save.

I will keep monitoring your updates and try them out periodically. I don't normally write this much about an add-on, but I do think you're on the right track and I need something like this that fixes the Mozilla mess on something as simple as zoom.

I wish I could help you, I know this should be more of browser implementation rather me doing a complement. Zoom preferences are really important and Mozilla should realize that.

Regarding the manage rules being greyed out, that's because first you have to check the "enabled" checkbox to enable the extension and then click on save settings.

    This extension is completely useless. I set the page zoom to 90% in the extension for a specific page and saved it as a rule. When I close the page and reopen it, the page zoom is not set to 90% because you can see this when you check the page zoom in the Firefox hamburger menu.

    The extension is perfect. Can I ask a manual custom zoom to have a 133 % zoom (the perfect ratio for my screen) ? Thanks a lot.

    Used to be good, but UI is outdated and doesn't work with the dark theme of Firefox

    it does zoom,
    but addon is outdated,
    configuration pane has problems with visibility on firefox dark theme,
    changing zoom level consumes too much time if many many tabs are open, because it changes the zoom for every tab in background also, which is unnecessary
    also github repository has status archived since 2019

    primarily used it because addon has lower size than other zoom addons,
    so time to change addon

    Awesome add-on.
    Minimal permissions used - just what it needs to make it functional.

    One improvement would be to allowe "per machine" zoom functions.
    ie. I would like to use different zoom levels for the same website on my laptop vs my desktop machine. Then it would be perfect!

    The best zoom addon for Firfox I personally trust. Minimalistic settings parameters that cover everything, unlike the excessively complex recommended addon for zoom. I mean for something so basic why do they want to complicate simple.
