Grey has always been squeezed between the black and white of yin and yang. The grey zone (grauzone) was the no man's land from West-Berlin to the wall and from the wall to East-Berlin (or the other way around). An 80's German new wave-band was called Grauzone. They made pretty good music, just a tip to dicover ;)
For me, grey equals opportunity. It is the zone where human beings feel most comfortable.
A balance between light and dark. It will alter your mindset, despite any initial bleakness.
