von Firefox-Benutzer 12559828, vor 3 MonatenIt overlays icloud password input prompts to fields that are not password or user-id fields, obscuring dialog boxes. Barely usable.

- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 19489403, vor 4 TagenFIX YOUR EXTENSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CANT EVEN USE IT I HAVE TO ZOOM OUT TO INPUT MY PASSWORD. IT IS BETTER TO WRITE IN A NOTEBOOK THE PASSWORD THAN USE THIS EXTENSION. WE HAVE AI GENERATING MOVIES BEFORE A PROPER PASSWORD MANAGER SYNC WITH FIREFOX WHY I HAVE TO PUT 10000 TIMES THE PASSWORD IN TO SHOW AVAILABLE PASSWORDS MAKE IT MORE FLAWLESS YOU LAZY VIBE CODERS. EVERYONE WHO S READING THIS SPAM THE CAPS AND TELL EVERYTHING YOU HATE ABOUT THIS EXTENSION. MAYBE THEY ARE FIRED AT LEAST IF NOT FIXING THIS EXTENSION. ON WINDOWS, LINUX AND MACOS THIS WORKS SO BAD. I AM SEELING MY MACBOOK BECAUSE EVEN SAFARI IS NOT IMPLEMENTING WELL THE PASSWORD MANAGER. BE MORE INTUITIVE TO NOT ANNOY THE USER. EVERYTHING IS ANNOYING ABOUT PASSWORDS MANAGER FROM USING IT ON IPHONE TO USING IT ON ANY MACHINE. CAN''T EVEN FIND A GOOD REASON TO USE ICLOUD PASSWORDS. ICLOUD SYNC IS SO BAD ALSO. IT TAKES DAYS TO SYNC SOME STUPID FOLDERS. MAKE A SYNC FOR ALSO DEV WORK NOT JUST SYNCING 2 SCREENSHOTS FROM IPHONE

- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon TheOddLia, vor 20 TagenGood integration between macOS native passwords and Firefox. It is a bit annoying that you have to enter a code every time you restart Firefox, but I suppose it's better to have that authentication than just...allowing third-party apps to access passwords when they want to. But it would be nice if Touch ID could be used for that instead (or a user PIN on Windows).
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon ancientsnailbiscuits, vor einem MonatIf you are constantly getting asked to save an already saved password: delete the extension from Firefox, restart Firefox, and reinstall the extension. Works for me on MacOS 26.4.1
- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 19898252, vor einem MonatWorked great until macOS 26.4...
Now, the extension prompts the user to save the login even though the login already exists. Honestly, macOS26 has been the best and the worst version ever. Steve would have been infuriated that the user interface is so broken. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon timpea, vor einem MonatRunning MacOS 26 and it all works perfectly for me, I nearly didn't download it because of all the recent 1* reviews.
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 18348988, vor einem MonatEver since Apple released macOS 24.4, this extension prompts the user to save the login even though the login already exists ! This is infuriating as Apple has released an update to the extension for Chrome based browsers that fixes this but NOTHING for Firefox! EDIT : FIXED APRIL 30 2026!
- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon Martijn, vor einem MonatIt somehow works better on Windows than it does on MacOS, including for the same reasons people are mentioning below (the login popup, or somehow treating random form items like password fields).
The addon has not been updated since December 2025, while the Chrome version has had multiple updates. And that version also seems to address these issues specifically in its updates. - Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon JFLyers, vor 2 MonatenSame as a lot of other reviews. Everything is great except after every login a popup asks for the username to save even though that info is already there. Every login. Annoying to the point that I disabled the extension.
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon aaa, vor 2 MonatenBreaks a simple input textarea box on a simple html page. I can't hit enter to newline anymore due to this bug. Why is such a bug existent? Please properly guard your invariants!!!

Temporary fix: disable this stupid setting:
In-Page AutoFill
Allow iCloud Passwords to offer credentials from an in-page list. You can always fill passwords from the iCloud Passwords toolbar button, even if this option is turned off. - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon MeltingReactor, vor 2 MonatenIt doesn't work on Firefox. When added for the first time it just tells you this: "The Passwords extension is not currently
available on Firefox for Windows. It is
available in Chrome and Edge." - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 19831200, vor 2 MonatenThis extension makes Firefox unresponsive whenever I try to type something in any textbox, not just password. It's a shame this comes from Apple.
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 18801815, vor 2 MonatenThe save username pop up is so annoying I thought this problem is with my ios system it turns out only happens here.
- Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Deedeed, vor 2 MonatenSame as previous comment: worked more than fine for a long time, now it keeps displaying a message saying: "Enter the username for this account to finish saving your password and allow safari to autofill."
Even though that password had already been saved and this issue was not happening. - Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon JoaoRuss0, vor 2 MonatenWorked more than fine for a few weeks, now it keeps displaying a message saying: "Enter the username for this account to finish saving your password and allow safari to autofill."

- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 15201000, vor 2 MonatenWorks well enough and I haven't noticed performance issues related to it. A few annoyances:
- prevents hitting Enter to submit a login form
- requires being authorized via push notification after every Firefox reinstall (I'm on the beta channel so this happens often)
- no option to just fill in passwords without needing TouchID for every one
Really, this thing shouldn't even be necessary though. Apple provides the APIs for Firefox to directly access iCloud Keychain. Firefox should be using them. - Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 17639658, vor 2 Monaten

- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon jaw, vor 3 Monatenit's extremely buggy and probably deliberately so. Apple does not want you to switch from Safari to Firefox
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Lynus, vor 3 Monatenwhy add it to the store if it isn't even available? i don't see the point.
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon lax, vor 3 Monaten"The passwords extension is not currently available on Firefox for Windows. It is available in Chrome and Edge." So yeah, thanks. How about not adding this in Firefox add-ons store then?
