The extension blocks all linkedin.com requests immediately on install. Click the toolbar icon to see the popup UI with "Disable for 5 min" (10-20 character typing challenge) and "Customized Disable" (35 character challenge, user-specified duration). The challenge prevents copy/paste to require manual typing. A countdown timer shows when blocking will resume, and clicking during countdown re-enables blocking early
