- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon madhale, vor 13 StundenI REALLY want to downgrade. I don't need the fancy ui... it takes way more clicks to do all the simple things I needed to do. Is there an xpi file or something of the old version? I need alternatives asap. Cool new features... but I don't want to click four times to do something that used to take one or two clicks.... that's bad ui design.

geschrieben am vor 12 StundenHi, please let us know what actions require too many clicks, so we can add keyboard shortcuts or other improvements. As far as we're aware, the only thing that takes more clicks than before is when you're using the "share as a web page" feature. It's now just 1 click to delete a group, whereas before it was a click and a confirm, so that's an improvement. Older versions are available for download in the add-ons history. Please let us know at one-tab.com/feedback what specifically we can make more efficient to do in the new version. Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 2 TagenHi, the new OneTab was designed to be much faster than before. It's possible it might be slower if you have a very old GPU - please contact us at one-tab.com/feedback so we can see if we can figure out the particular performance issue that we can fix.- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 19830530, vor 3 TagenSimply ingenious, I can have tons of tabs open and get back to them later without it taking up memory or creating clutter in my space. The new update is great, it's like tabs for my tabs instead of a list now. I feel like I'll never get bored or lose track of something that I want to get back to, and it's not going to create clutter I don't want to lose or keep forever in my bookmarks.

Once you feel like you need a break you can wrap everything up with a single click and not worry about losing track or spending tons of time bookmarking tabs one by one. (One thing I'm missing though is ability to merge groups on android but it's not worthy of removing a star :P)

I used to exclusively use this but i just cant rely on it whatsoever now
Edit for you guys: If it is firefox doing this, ive gotten no warning or refresh firefox indicators at all and i have auto updates off so im not sure wth is going on here, will be changing my 2 stars to 5 because of this information because it really is the most useful tab storage add on with easy as heck wyas to mass save tabsAntwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 10 TagenHi, it's definitely not a bug in OneTab that causes itself to be wiped.
OneTab storage is handled by Firefox, and is stored in Firefox's internal database format. For some reason, Firefox has wiped this storage area. Do you remember recently being asked if you want to "Refresh Firefox"? This is a prompt shown to you when you upgrade to a new Firefox version (there is a new Firefox version released every month). This feature, confusingly, wipes clean all add-on storage including OneTab's storage. You might have a folder called "Old Firefox Data" in your desktop folder, which could contain a copy if you used this Refresh feature without realizing.
The other possibility is if you had a browser or PC crash, which caused a disk corruption in the Firefox internal storage areas. Firefox would then wipe clean the affected storage area.
"Privacy cleaner" and "Delete unnecessary files" types of software can also delete OneTab data. - Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon ReyMcSriff, vor 10 TagenLove Onetab, but not a fan of the most recent update. Not sure why they changed it to this forced center-aligned layout with no ability to change it to something like previous versions, but it makes for a ton of wasted space on either side on my 1440p monitor. I also have the bug with Onetab auto-pinning its own tab every time it opens but they've mentioned they'll fix that soon, at least. Reverted to an older version for now.

geschrieben am vor 10 TagenHi, thanks for the feedback. We'll be releasing a fix soon that will make OneTab remember if you un-pin it. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon mez landor, vor 10 Tagen
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon JBJo, vor 10 Tagen1. If any application (including browser addons) does not have an OFFLINE import-export-backup function, it has no value to me, does not follow good practices and is poorly designed.
2. Cloud sync may be OPTIONAL for users who clearly need it.
Full import-export (containing complete data to restore the previous state, folders, groups, stars, pins, tasks, etc.) locally to the file is the foundation.
Cloud here, cloud there, some clouds everywhere, but a large group of users do not use clouds for everything (many use self-hosted) and must have access to file backup.
3. Currently, it is not possible to return to v1 as a workaround -> v2 should not be released because it is incomplete.
4. Do not install v2 if you plan to reinstall the OS soon, because you will lose the ability to export your OneTab bookmarks!
I was going to install a new OS in the coming days and now I can't transfer my bookmarks.
Maybe need to look for another addon?
PS: The current look and new features are great, but the lack of FULL file export-import is a bummer... - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 19816610, vor 10 TagenNewest update wiped years of accumulated tabs. The developer has taken no responsibility. Changed the way they save tabs, don't test it, and wipe user's existing tabs without making a backup first?
DO NOT TRUST these developers.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 10 TagenHi, we did thoroughly test it, and we do ensure there is a backup in the old storage area before migrating it to the new storage area. Please contact us at one-tab.com/feedback and we may be able to help. For most people, everything should be automatic. - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 14938337, vor 11 Tagen

geschrieben am vor 11 TagenHi, unfortunately Tor browser prevents all extensions (including OneTab) from using indexeddb for storage, which breaks the new OneTab. There is nothing we can do to get Tor to allow it. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1893821 - Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon axew, vor 11 TagenPretty good but the update now forcibly creates a pinned tab and I cannot stand them. Let OneTab open in a regular tab. @dev: OK nice, will update this after that.

geschrieben am vor 11 TagenHi, this is a bug in the latest version. It will fixed in the April update, so that OneTab will remember if you un-pin it once. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Aria, vor 12 TagenAmazing new features added recently that made an already good plugin even better. The world needs such good devs like you. Thank you so much for all of your work.

- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Droolio, vor 13 TagenI was very wary when seeing this v2 update (in the old version I had to be careful to avoid 'Send all tabs... to OneTab', because it basically nuked everything without saving heh)... but I made a third party backup of my Firefox profile (as we all should! *hint hint*) and gave it a spin...
Really pleasantly surprised at how good the extra features are. The filtering options, much needed search, the trash - this whole update has expanded its use case. For me, it's gonna be a bit overwhelming to sort through 24k+ tabs, but at least I now have some tools to help whittle that down and have some degree of organisation.
My only slight gripe so far is the 3 panel UI, it's a bit unnecessary IMO - the Quick list and Tasks can easily share the left panel. I hope the dev takes in all the feedback and also looks into reports of data-loss for some people, coz that's obviously concerning. (Make good third-party backups, people!)Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 13 TagenThanks for the feedback - please also note that there is a new "Show the OneTab action popup" option in the Options page, which shows a popup window when you click the OneTab icon instead of immediately sending all tabs in the current window to OneTab. It's possible in the future we could make the side panels more configurable, like an IDE. If you have any other feature thoughts, please let us know at one-tab.com/feedback - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Garvit Jain, vor 13 TagenClosed multiple windows without warning immediately after installing. geschrieben am vor 13 TagenHi, we've not heard of this issue happening to anyone else - OneTab is designed to only close a browser window if you click the OneTab icon to send the open tabs to OneTab.
Even if a window does get accidentally closed, you should be able to use the History menu to reopen the recently closed tabs. - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon D53, vor 14 TagenLost all stored tabs over one update.
