Opened & Closed Tab Counter von Shajirr

If you open way too many tabs and don't close enough of them,
resulting in an ever-growing number of tabs left, this addon might help to track that and reduce their number.

It displays the delta between the number of tabs you opened and closed during the day, with green background for negative (closed more than opened), and red background for positive (opened more than closed)

Red background = you need to close more tabs,
maintaining green background = reducing the number of tabs.

If you hover a mouse over an addon's icon, it will display the current delta,
as well as separate numbers of opened and closed tabs.

Clicking an addon icon brings up a popup which displays the deltas for the last 7 days as well as their sum, so you can see more long-term stats there.
Total number of open tabs is also displayed at the bottom.
The popup also has buttons to reset the corresponding daily count if needed.
To reset the count, click the button once, wait until it turns red, then click again to confirm.

The "Suggest tabs to close" button opens a new window that lists 10 of the oldest (by creation date) tabs, randomised. Clicking the tab entry switches to the corresponding tab, while clicking the close button closes said tab. Full tab name and URL are displayed on hover. Refresh button will fetch a new batch of tabs. When closing any of the suggested tabs, the next suggested tab in the list will be automatically activated.
Each entry also has an "Exclude domain" button - when clicked, the domain of the corresponding suggestion will be added to exclusions, and will not appear in the list of suggestions any more.

Addon icon needs to be pinned to the toolbar first, since it's needed for pretty much all of this addon's functionality.

Permissions

• Access browser tabs - needed to track tab open and close events
• Access recently closed tabs - needed to write and read the origin date for tabs using the sessions API
